New Muhammad Ali AI Docudrama to Make World Premiere in Nassau 66 Years to the Day After His First Professional Fight

G.O.A.T.: Muhammad Ali’s Blueprint to Greatness returns Ali’s story to Nassau, where the legendary fighter stepped into the ring professionally for the final time.

NASSAU, Bahamas — August 27, 2026 — Writer-director Tasha “T.M.” Caufield will premiere her feature-length historical docudrama G.O.A.T.: Muhammad Ali’s Blueprint to Greatness in Nassau on Thursday, October 29, 2026 — exactly 66 years after an 18-year-old Cassius Clay stepped into the ring for his first professional fight.

The date and location bring Ali’s professional boxing journey full circle. Clay made his professional debut against Tunney Hunsaker in Louisville on October 29, 1960. Twenty-one years later, Muhammad Ali fought the 61st and final professional bout of his career against Trevor Berbick in Nassau on December 11, 1981. Now, on the anniversary of the day that journey began, his story returns to the place where it ended.

“There couldn’t be a more fitting place to premiere this film than Nassau,” said Caufield. “October 29 marks the day an 18-year-old Cassius Clay stepped into the ring as a professional for the first time. Nassau is where Muhammad Ali stepped into the ring professionally for the last time. Sixty-six years later, on the anniversary of that beginning, we’re bringing his story back to the place where that journey ended. In a way, we’re completing the circle.”

More than a chronicle of famous fights, G.O.A.T. explores the extraordinary life and adversity-filled journey that transformed Cassius Clay into Muhammad Ali and ultimately into the man celebrated around the world as “The Greatest.” Caufield spent over a year conducting historical research for the project, with the film developed from her original copyrighted screenplay.

The production also represents a new approach to independent historical filmmaking. G.O.A.T. was created using advanced AI filmmaking tools to help visualize and produce animated historical reenactments, while its research, writing, historical interpretation and fact-checking were human-led.

“This film asks what becomes possible when rigorous historical research meets a completely new filmmaking technology,” Caufield said. “AI didn’t research Muhammad Ali’s life or write his story. It gave an independent filmmaker a new set of tools with which to bring that history to the screen.”

The world premiere will take place from 6:00–9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, at Fusion Superplex in Nassau. The film will screen in the intimate 40-seat Pure VIP Cinema, followed by a special post-screening discussion and audience Q&A with Caufield. Admission is complimentary, but advance RSVP is required. The Pure VIP Cinema is restricted to guests age 18 and older, and doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The premiere will be followed on Friday, October 30, by the second annual The Art of the AI Feature Film Roundtable in Nassau. The hybrid discussion will bring together filmmakers to examine the rapidly evolving creative processes and questions surrounding feature-length AI filmmaking, with additional participants able to join virtually. The event will be streamed live online.
